Piper Plumbing & Gas: a new domain, and straight into the results.

Before to mid-October 2026

A well-reviewed local plumber whose website wasn’t matching the strength of its Google reviews.

• The old site at piperplumbing.au had built up years of links and Google history, all of which had to survive a move to a new address.
• On 15 October 2026, the day of the move, Piper wasn’t in the top 40 for “plumber barossa valley” in our baseline check.
• The Business Profile listed 5 categories.

The work October 2026

• Moved the site to piperplumbingandgas.com.au and redirected every old piperplumbing.au page to its new home, so nothing built up on Google was thrown away.
• A page for each of the nine services, from blocked drains and hot water to septic systems and rainwater tanks.
• Pages for the Barossa towns they cover and for Gawler, each written for that area rather than copied.
• Business Profile categories from 5 to 8 (gas installation, solar hot water and rainwater tanks added) and 11 services added with descriptions, 18 October 2026.
• A quote form that takes photos or PDF plans, and tracking on calls and emails from the site.

Live Google check · 21 Oct 2026

• “plumber barossa” and “plumber barossa valley”: averaging 3rd to 4th in Google search within a week of launch (Search Console: “plumber barossa” 3.1–3.3 on 19–20 October, “plumber barossa valley” 4.5 on 20 October 2026). Normal web results, not the map. On 15 October “plumber barossa valley” wasn’t in the top 40.
