Results · Verified Search Console data
Real SEO results. Named clients. Dated data.
Our policy on this page is simple: every case study names the business, shows real Google Search Console data with the exact date window, and keeps the caveats in. If a figure can't be defended with a raw export, it doesn't get published.
How to read these numbers
Average position is Google's own measure of where a page ranked, averaged across every time it appeared for a query — 1.0 is the top result, anything under about 10 is page one. It's the most honest ranking figure available, because it comes straight from Google Search Console rather than a rank-tracking tool taking snapshots.
Unless a different window is stated, every figure on this page is from the 28 days to 18 Sep 2026 (22 Aug – 18 Sep 2026), pulled on 20 Sep 2026. Rankings move week to week, so this page is refreshed as new windows are pulled — the numbers you see are the most recent pull, not the best month we ever had. Low-volume queries are labelled with their impression counts so you can weigh them yourself.

The launch five
Five businesses. Five sets of receipts.
All five are real South Australian small businesses — the same kind of trade and local operators we describe on our homepage. Click through any card for the full story: what the site looked like at the start, what we actually did, and the query-by-query data.
Roam Offroad
Gawler · serves Adelaide metro · 4x4 accessories, Shopify
A 4x4 retailer competing with national chains for Adelaide metro searches. On-site fixes, a proper services build-out and Google Business Profile work moved "4x4 accessories adelaide" from average position 8.5 (27 Jul – 23 Aug 2026 window) to 7.6 — page one — improved from average position 8.5 to 7.6 across our last two data windows. Property-wide: 375 clicks and 16,556 impressions in the window.
Becks Bathrooms & Tiling
Morphett Vale · southern Adelaide suburbs
An SEO-first build with genuine suburb pages across southern Adelaide. Top five for "bathroom renovations", average position 1.1 for "bathroom renovations reynella" (39 impressions) and page one for Morphett Vale and Hallett Cove renovation searches — all in the same window.
Iron Works Mobile Welding & Fabrication
Adelaide · works statewide
A mobile welder ranking on page one for ten separate Adelaide welding queries in the window — including "mobile welding fabrication adelaide" at average position 2.5 (22 impressions). Impressions were up 40% window-on-window at our 25 Aug 2026 audit. The full study also shows the weak spot — sitewide CTR of 1.1% — and what we're doing about it.
May Paving
Gawler · Munno Para · northern Adelaide
A documented page-two-to-page-one move: "paving gawler" sat at average position 10 in the 27 Jul – 23 Aug 2026 window and reached 6.2 in this one. "Landscapers gawler" at 4.2 and "paving services gawler" at 5.6 round out a genuine local footprint in the northern suburbs.
Barossa 50's Diner
Tanunda · new venue launch + local SEO
A brand-new venue taken to number one for every non-branded local diner search within weeks of launch — "barossa diner" and "diner tanunda" both at average position 1.0 in the window. The full study is honest about the split: most of the property's 654 clicks are branded demand; the non-branded number ones are the SEO win.
Is your business next?
Most of these clients are trade businesses, and most of the work is local search. If that sounds like you, start with SEO for tradies or see how the map-pack side works on Local SEO Adelaide — then get the free audit so we can show you where your site actually stands.
Tracked from day zero
A1 Roofing Adelaide — we published the starting line first.
Case studies are usually written after the good news. This one runs the other way: A1 Roofing Adelaide's baseline was documented on 20 Sep 2026, before the SEO work began, and this page will show what changes — whatever the data says.
Average position 77.8 means page eight of Google — 73 impressions, zero clicks. In other words: at engagement start, this business has effectively no non-branded search visibility. That's the honest starting line, on the record with a date on it.
Why you can trust this page
Our evidence rules.
- Named clients only. Every business on this page is real, named, and findable — you can look them up and ring them. No anonymised "a client in the trades sector".
- Exact windows on every figure. Each number states its date range. No "up 300%" with no start point, no cherry-picked best-ever day presented as normal.
- No branded-query wins. Ranking a business for its own name is demand, not SEO — so you won't see those numbers used as proof anywhere on this site.
- Declines aren't hidden. Weak CTRs, low-volume queries and pages that haven't moved get labelled and acknowledged, here and in the full studies.
- Nothing we can't defend. Every published figure traces back to a retained Search Console export. If we can't show the raw data, we don't make the claim.
Data policy applies sitewide — the same standard backs every number on the homepage and service pages.
