Case study · Handyman & property maintenance · Waikerie & Gawler

SA Elite Handyman: five quote requests before the site had even launched.

Lindsay Garner is a handyman and property maintenance sole trader working from Waikerie in the Riverland and from Gawler. Before we started he had a Facebook page and no website. We built his brand first, then an SEO-first site. Five quote requests came through it before it had even launched (26 July – 19 August 2026), and Lindsay has been booked out since, with another employee hired in October 2026.

Before, the work and after

Before July 2026

A busy sole trader with no job too big or too small and every quote free, and nowhere to send people but Facebook.

  • No website at all, so searches for a handyman in Gawler and the Barossa had nothing of his to find.
  • The Facebook page used AI-generated imagery instead of a real logo.

The work July – August 2026

  • Brand first: a logo, a brand board setting out the colours and type, and matching business cards, so everything a customer sees looks like the same business. Facebook rebuilt around the new logo.
  • An SEO-first site built around how people look for a handyman, with pages for Gawler, the Barossa Valley, the northern suburbs and the Riverland, and the real suburbs he covers on the homepage.
  • A short quote form (name and phone, not much else) that takes photos straight from a phone, so Lindsay sees the job before he calls back.

After

The owner · 26 Jul – 19 Aug 2026

  • 5 quote requests through the site before it had even launched.

The owner · since launch

  • Booked out since the site went live, and another employee hired (October 2026).

Our client portal · September 2026

  • 8 website enquiries in September 2026: 3 quote forms, 4 calls and 1 email from the site.

The honest bits

What the numbers don’t say.

The early quotes are the owner’s count. The five requests before launch and “booked out” are what Lindsay told us. The September figure is from our own portal, counted one per person per day.
No ranking claim yet. We don’t publish a keyword win for SA Elite. Searches for the business’s own name don’t count, and the handyman searches it is chasing are still building.

The build

The brand and the website are written up on JB Digital Barossa’s SA Elite Handyman case study.
